Junior Research Fellow in Pollination Ecology

Epp Valdaru

Epp´s research focuses on the effects of landscape change on plant-pollinator interactions in agricultural landscapes. As a member of the Biodiversa+ project called FuncNet Epp will examine the patterns of significant groups of pollinators in response to the amount and connectivity of natural and semi-natural habitats in Estonian agricultural landscapes and assess the availability of floral resources for pollinators depending on landscape context. Moreover, Epp will evaluate the diversity and structure of plant-pollinator interaction networks in contemporary agricultural landscapes.

Epp´s supervisors are Tsipe Aavik, Virve Sõber and Mari-Liis Viljur.
